A message to you...

Our staff are highly trained professionals ready to take your emergency call and dispatch the appropriate emergency responders. We provide pre-arrival instructions and can stay on the line with you until help arrives. Each dispatcher completes over 500 hours of initial training and over 50 hours of continuing education each year. We constantly strive to provide the best in 911 and emergency services to the residents and visitors of our community.

Our Dispatchers

Our personnel are available to speak to civic groups, schools, church groups, etc about the 911 services offered to our citizens. We have several educational programs available. Congratulations to Adam Dye!

Adam Dye has been a dispatcher with our Department since 2007. Recently, Adam applied for a job as a Police Officer. He will attend the Police Academy starting in July 2011. Congratulations and all of us wish him the very best!

Ms. Bethany Derden and Ms. Tammy Smith began employment in the Communications Division of the Bristol Tennessee Police Department during the month of October. Ms. Derden and Ms. Smith will be in training for the next several months. Our congratulations to them and Welcome to the 911 team!
